Day
1 : Colombo
Rendezvous at Heathrow airport. Depart for Colombo. Night on board.
Day 2 : Colombo
Arrive Colombo in the morning. Welcome at the airport with flower garland. Transfer to hotel. Little time to relax in the hotel. Sri Lanka's capital up to recent times, Colombo, is a fascinating city, not only for a comfortable blend of east and west, but also for a cosy mixture of the past and present. It is still the commercial centre of the country. Colombo has been a flourishing seaport for centuries. Today the bustle of the harbour mingles with the activity of its busy commercial, banking and shopping areas. The original trading settlers - the Portuguese, Dutch and the British have all left in their wake churches and monuments, names and religions, costumes and food and smatterings of their languages which have been absorbed into the speech of the Sri Lankans.
After lunch proceed for the sightseeing tour of Colombo. Visit the fort and Pettah the hub of commercial activities, town hall, independence square, BICH (Bandaranaike International Convention Hall), national museum, drive through cinnamon gardens residential area, visit the Dehiwala zoological gardens and witness famous elephant circus which commences at 0515 hrs daily. Enroute to your hotel visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu temple. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

3 : Colombo / Pinnawala / Sigiriya
After breakfast depart by the road of Karunagale for Sigiriya. Enroute visit Pinnawala elephant orphanage. Witness feeding of elephants including baby elephants who are being fed with milk bottles and then all elephants will be taken to the nearby river for their daily bath. Continue towards Sigiriya Arrive and check in to hotel. Followed by lunch.
In the afternoon sightseeing tour of Sigiriya - you are in the cultural triangle of the Island. Visits its " Lion Rock ", a practically impregnable fortress built by the King Kaspaya (477-495 A.D.). The climbing towards the air palace requires a little courage, but the pleasure of putting the feet on this platform will make you a first stop to admire, semi-goddesses, semi-princesses, painted on the rock " the young ladies of Sirigya ". Through the open mouth of the Lion had led the covered staircase built of bricks and timber and a tiled roof. You will pass between the legs of the lion of stone while climbing up there. The sight is extraordinary from the rock. Return to hotel. Dinner & overnight.
Day 4 : Sigiriya - Polonaruwa / Dambula / Kandy
Breakfast in the hotel. Excursion to Polonaruwa - the medieval capital of Ceylon. Visit the archeological site, Gal Vihara with the three statues of Boddha along with the great Buddha laid down on its right side and which measures 14 metres, represents the happy one at the time of its death.
Return to hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, depart for Kandy - The Hill Capital of Sri Lanka nestling among the misty hills in the central region. Enroute stop to visit Dambula, which is an enormous granitic mass with the famous caves containing a curious whole of painted statues, with medieval frescos telling the life of Buddha. Visit a spice garden at Matale and a wood carving factory and also visit a batik factory.Arrive and check in to hotel. Day at leisure near the swimming pool. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 5 : Kandy
After breakfast proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kandy. Visit the Peradeniya Botanical gardens, where you can view a rare collection of tropical, exotic and indigenous flora; and the famous orchid house. Drive around the upper lake and view the picturesque university campus buildings of traditional Sinhalese architecture, Visit the market place and the arts & crafts centre and return to hotel. free time for shopping.
In the evening view a cultural performance depicting the low and upcountry dancers and return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.

6 : Kandy / Nuwara Eliya (65 Km)
Morning leave for Nuwara Eliya. Enroute visit a tea factory and tea estate. Arrive and check in to hotel.
In the afternoon, commence a sightseeing tour of Nuwara-Eliya visiting Hakgal Botanical gardens with exotic trees, shrubs & herbs known to thrive best in hilly country, which has an excellent rose garden one of the island's finest collections, rare fernery including the giant tree fern of Sri Lanka. Visit the famous golf course and the market place and return to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel
Day 7 : Nuwara Ellya / Galle / Ocean
Breakfast in the hotel. Departure by the road which crosses salt-water marshes of Hambantota. Lunch at Weligama Beach Resort where one can see astonishing fishermen on stilt. Continuation towards Galle by the road of the edge of sea which skirts ranges bordered of coconuts. Visit the harbour city including one great part goes down from the Arab merchants as testify some the minarets and the mosques. Stopping with Ambalangoda which is famous for its museum of mask and wood sculptures, Arrive and check in to hotel. Dinner & overnight at hotel.
Day 8 : Ocean
Day at leisure on full board. Tennis, water skiing, swimming pool are at your disposal !
Day 9 : Ocean / Colombo / Next destination
Day at leisure on full board. Farewell dinner in the evening. Late in the evening, transfer to the airport (1h30). Assistance with the check-in formalities. Take-off for next destination.
