DAY 1 : Depart For Delhi
Depart for Delhi. Night in the plane.
DAY 2 : Delhi
Arrive Delhi in the morning...! Welcome and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit Old Delhi, the capital of Mughals between the 16th and the 19th centuries. Here there are many monuments, the most notable being the famous Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. Overnight in Delhi
DAY 3 : Delhi
Morning, visit the New Delhi – Drive past the India Gate, Parliament House and the Rashtrapati Bhawan. Visit - Qutab Minar, the 'Tower of Victory and Humayun's Tomb, built by the wife of 2nd Mughal emperor. Overnight in Delhi.
DAY 4 : Delhi /Samode/ Jaipur
Morning, depart for Jaipur, the Pink City. It is known for its magnificent Palaces and forts. Enroute visit the beautiful village of Samode. The village is dominated by its castle. Visit the Palace. After lunch, leave for Jaipur. In the evening enjoy a panoramic tour of Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 5 : Jaipur
Morning excursion to Amber Fort, the ancient capital of the Rajput rulers. Ascend to this hilltop fort by decorated Elephant. Visit the beautiful complex of palaces, pavilions and gardens. In the afternoon city tour of Jaipur, visiting the City Palace-, the Palace of Wind and the 18th Century Observatory. Walk in the bustling bazaars of Jaipur. Overnight in Jaipur.
DAY 6 : Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
In the morning, leave for Agra. Enroute, visit Keoladeo national Park- a bird sanctuary. After lunch visit Fatehpur Sikri the ancient capital of the Mughals. This city built in 1569 has some splendid Palaces. Thereafter, continue towards Agra. Overnight in Agra.
DAY 7 : Agra
Early morning, visit the world famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty astonishes and mesmerizes one and all. After breakfast, visit the Agra Fort. Rest of the afternoon free. Overnight in Agra
DAY 8 : Agra / Gwalior (Train) / Orchha
Morning depart by Train for Gwalior. Arrive in Gwalior and visit the magnificent Gwalior Fort, the Man Mandir and the 19th century Jai Vilas Palace. After lunch, leave for the medieval city of Orchha flanked by river Betwa. It is known for its palaces and temples of 16th-17th century. Overnight in Orcha.
DAY 9 : Orchha / Khajuraho
In the morning, visit the ancient Palace of Maharaja Bir Singh. Drive to Khajuraho. Khajuraho is known for its magnificent carved temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Jain Tirthankaras. Built between 950 and 1050 A.D., these temples are exquisite specimens of medieval Indian architecture. Overnight in Khajuraho
DAY 10 : Khajuraho / Varanasi (Flight)
Morning, visit the temples with beautiful sculptures. Thereafter, transfer to airport to take a flight to Varanasi. Arrive in Varanasi and visit Sarnath - one of the holiest Buddhist sites. Buddha preached his first Sermon here. In the evening, A special cruise on the Ganges to see the "Aarti " with lighted lamps. Overnight in Varanasi
DAY 11 : Varanasi / Kathmandu (Flight)
Early morning, boat ride on the Ganges to witness the living traditions of Hinduism. Thereafter, walk through the narrow lanes and colourful bazaars in the city. Later, depart for airport and fly to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and proceed for a visit of Hanuman Dhoka followed by Kumari Temple - the temple of the living goddess and the Kasthamandap, which gave Kathmandu its name. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 12 : Kathmandu
In the morningm visit Bhaktapur, the home of medieval art and architecture. Its Durbar square; the Lion Gate, and the palace of 55 windows. Thereafter, visit Patan- the city of artists, Buddhist monuments, Hindu temples. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 13 : Kathmandu
Morning excursion to Changunarayan and walk through the picturesque mountain and villages to this temple. Thereafter, leave for Dhulikhel, the Newar town. It is famous for its scenic beauty and panoramic view of the snowy ranges. Overnight in Kathmandu.
DAY 14 : Kathmandu / Delhi
In the morning, visit the Bodhnath Stupa, one of the biggest in the world. This is followed by a visit of Pashupatinath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple has a superb architecture and is ‘Nepal’s’ holiest place. After lunch, take flight to Delhi. Remain in transit
