Day 1: Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi, transfer to the railway station to board an overnight train to Khajurao.
Day 2: Khajurao
Welcome by our representative at the railway station. Transfer to the hotel. After breakfast visit the famous temples of Khajuraho dating back to the 11th century, admired for their beauty whose intricate sculptures and erotic carvings are one of the outstanding achievements of Indian art. Also visit the Jain Temples. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Khajurao/Varanasi
After breakfast, check out the hotel and transfer to airport to board a flight to Varanasi. After a short rest, go for a tour on Ganges- In the evening visit Mother India Temple- a unique temple dedicated to Mother India carved with a single piece of marble. From here proceed to the Ghats to witness the Aarti Ceremony (Hindu ritual /prayer of river Ganges at Sunset) on bicycle rickshaws. Passing through the crowded bazaars and galis (old part) of this ancient city, followed by a short boat ride on Ganges observe the Aarti ceremony amidst jingling of bells, floating of diyas (traditional lamps) and chanting of mantras give an unforgettable experience indescribable in words. Later return to the hotel with Rickshaws/ your transport. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Varanasi
Early morning: boat cruise on river Ganges. The western banks of Ganges has a string of Ghats -.. The Sunrise on the Ganges is a soul-lifting experience. On return breakfast at the hotel. Later, walk through the narrow lanes and colourful bazaars in the heart of the old city and visit the temples. The visit includes the famous Kashi Vishwa Nath Temple, Banaras Hindu University. Then, visit Sarnath Temple - 5 miles out of Varanasi. Sarnath is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in the world, where Buddha preached his first Sermon in 590 BC. Sarnath has a fine Museum filled with sculptures found at the site. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Varanasi/Delhi
After breakfast,transfer to the airport to board a flight to Delhi.
