This itinerary covers the following destinations : Paro - Thimpu - Punakha - Wangdiphodrang - Gangtey - Phobjikha - Tongsa - Bumthang - Mongar - Tashigang - Samdrup Jonkhar - Guwahati.
Day 01 : Paro
Arrival Paro, welcome meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02 : Paro
Morning visit the Kyichu Lhakhang, Drukgyel Dzong and later an excursion to Taktsang Monastery or to Kila Goemba.
Day 03 : Paro / Thimpu
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour, visiting Ta Dzong (the National Museum), Rinpung Dzong and Farm Houses. After lunch drive to Thimphu en route visiting Simtokha Dzong. In the evening visit the local market and Thimphu market & town.
Day 04 : Thimpu
In the morning, experience a sightseeing tour of the Thimphu valley, visiting Chorten Memorial,Tashichhodzong, the Handicrafts Emporium, the National Library, Painting School and the Traditional Medicine Institute.
Day 05 : Thimpu / Punakha
In the morning depart for Punakha across Dochula, pass which is at the height of 3,100 meters. In the afternoon visit the Punakha Dzong and the town area.
Day 06 : Punakha / Wangdiphodrang / Gangtey
After breakfast, leave for Wangdiphodrang and visit Dzong & the town. In the afternoon, drive to Gangtey. In the evening visit the Gangtey Gompa Monastery.
Day 07 : Gangtey / Phobjikha / Tongsa
In the morning explore the Phobjikha valley. Later drive to Tongsa. In the evening, visit Tongsa Dzong & Ta Dzong (Watchtower).
Day 08 : Tongsa / Bumthang
In the morning drive to Bumthang. In the evening explore the Bumthang valley.
Day 09 : Bumthand
Enjoy the day letting the beauty of Bumthang valley sink in, then a visit Jakar Dzong, Kurje Monastery, Jambay Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang.
Day 10 : Bumthang / Mongar
In the morning, depart for Mongar. In the evening, visit Mongar Dzong & the local market area.
Day 11 : Mongar / Tashigang
After breakfast, leave for Tashigang. In the afternoon visit the Tashigang Dzong & the town.
Day 12 : Tashigang
The next morning, spend the day with an excursion to Tashiyangtse.
Day 13 : Tashigang / Samdrup Jonkhar
In the morning, drive to Samdrup Jongkhar. The evening is at leisure to stroll around the local market and town.
Day 14 : Samdrup Jonkhar / Guwahati
In the morning, enjoy a filling breakfast and drive down to Guwahati airport to catch a flight for your onward destination.
