On the Steps of Sherkhan
The most magnificent natural heritage of India is its wildlife. The Indian peninsula with its geographical diversity offers a whole range of wildlife with over 350 species of wild animals and 1200 species of birds. The rare animals are Royal Bengal Tigers, one horned Indian rhinoceros, Snow leopard, Asiatic lion, and several variety of exotic birds.

This itinerary covers the following destinations : Delhi - Corbett - Agra - Khajuraho - Bandavgarh - Kanha - Nagpur - Mumbai - Delhi
Day
1 : Reach Delhi
Enjoy a welcome ceremony at the airport and move to the hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi
The next morning visit Delhi - the Capital of India, that includes Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi was the capital of the Moguls between the 16th and the 19th century. There are many mosques, monuments and forts, the most notable being the famous Red Fort and the Jama Masjid. The medieval atmosphere of the bazaars of Old Delhi contrasts sharply with the open, spacious streets of New Delhi, the imperial city created as the capital of India by the British.
Later in the afternoon visit the India Gate, Parliament Building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the official residence of the President of India, Qutab Minar and the Humayun's Tomb.
Day 3 : Delhi / Corbett
Morning depart by road for the Corbett National Park, named after the legendary Jim Corbett. It is located at the foothills of the himalays.

4 : Corbett
This day is reserved to discover and observe the wildlife : Elephants, tigers, bears in the jungle of Corbett with all its colours....!
Day 5 : Corbett / Delhi
Return back to Delhi by road. Rest of the day at your disposal.
Day 06 : Delhi / Agra
After breakfast depart for Agra. Reach and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon, discover the strong & magnificent Red Fort - built by the three generations of Mughal Emperors between 1565 and 1573, whose military power cannot be questioned
Day 07 : Agra / Khajuraho
Morning proceed to visit the World famous Taj Mahal, whose eternal beauty will astonish and mesmerise the visitors. It is also known as the "Crown of Palaces built by the Emperor Shah Jehan to immortalize the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.
In
the afternoon transfer to airport for a flight to Khajuraho - the ancient capital
of the Chandela Kings. Visit the famous and magnificent carved temples dedicated
to Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and the Jain Tirthankaras.
Day 08 : Khajuraho / Bandavgarh
The next morning, depart for Bandhavgarh National Park, situated in the forest of the erstwhile State of Rewa, the National Park lies in the heart of the Vindhyan Mountain Range. It is famous for its rich variety of wildlife and archaeological remains of the Kalchuri period. The park area is hilly and is dominated by the majestic Bandhavgarh fort, built in the 14th century. After a late lunch in the afternoon, proceed for the Jeep safari into the jungle to observe animals.
Day 09 : Bandhavgarh
The day is dedicated to take a safari in the reserve with a naturalist, in search of the Tiger, Leopard, Bear, Bison, Chital, Sambhar, Nilgai,Chinkara,Chowsingha, Barking deer, and varieties of birds the Paradise fly catchers, Jungle Fowl, Golden. Spend the day in the jungle. Overnight stay at the hotel.

10 : Bandhavgarh
Full day dedicated to discover and observe the wildlife - Elephants, tigers, bears in the jungle in the park with all its colours....!
Day 11 : Bandhavgarh/ Kanha
The next morning depart for the National park of Kanha , spread over 1,945 sq.km of dense sal forests, interspersed with extensive meadows, trees and clumps of wild bamboo. Kanha is considered as one of best wildlife reserve and its rich habitat has animals like Tigers, Gaurs, Sambars, Chitals, Barasinghas, Barking Deers, Black Deers, Black Bucks, Sloth Bears, Jackal Fox, Porcupine, Hyaena, and the of Barasingha (swamp deer). Reach and check in at the hotel.
Day 12 : Kanha
We go on a safari to discover the beauty of the park: tigers, gaurs, panthers, chitals, barasinghas, sambars, etc .
Day 13 : Kanha / Nagpur / Mumbai
This morning a short safari at dawn, before taking the road towards Nagpur. Once there, board the flight for Mumbai Arrival in the evening.

14 : Mumbai / Delhi
Morning proceed for the sightseeing of Mumbai, the great port city, which is the financial and commercial heart of India, where Victorian Gothic buildings from the British Raj era mingle with modern skyscrapers and office towers. The tour includes visit to the Gateway of India The imposing stone archway in Indo-Saracenic architecture built in 1911, Hanging Gardens, the Aquarium and Marine Drive, also known as the Queens Necklace. Later, visit the museum of Wales and walk towards the Victoria station and the market of Colaba. In the afternoon leave for the airport to catch a flight for Delhi.
Day 15 : Depart from Delhi
The last morning move to the International airport to take you flight back home.
