This itinerary covers the following destinations : Paro - Thimpu - Punakha - Wangdiphodrang - Gangtey - Phobjikha - Tongsa - Bumthang - Punakha - Paro.
Day 01 : Paro
Arrival at Paro & meet with our local representative. Depart for Thimphu. In the evening visit Thimphu's colourful local market.
Day 02 : Thimpu
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Thimphu valley, and visit the Chorten Memorial, Trashi chho Dzong, the National Library, Painting School, the Traditional Medicine Institute, the Handicrafts Emporium and View Point.
Day 03 : Thimpu / Punakha
In the morning, depart for Punakha across Dochula Pass. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong and the town.
Day 04 : Punakha / Wangdiphodrang / Gangtey
In the morning, after breakfast depart for Gangtey en route visiting Wangdiphodrang. Later, visit Wangdi Dzong and the town area. In the evening visit Gangtey Monastery.
Day 05 : Gangtey / Phobjikha / Tongsa
In the morning, leave for Tongsa. In the afternoon proceed for a visit to Tongsa Dzong, and Ta Dzong (a watchtower) and the local market.
Day 06 : Tongsa / Bumthang
After breakfast, drive down to Bumthang and explore the fascinating Bumthang valley.
Day 07 : Bumthang
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bumthang and visit Jakar Dzong, Kurje Monastery, Jambay Lhakhang and Tamshing Lhakhang.
Day 08 : Bumthang / Punakha
In the morning, after breakfast drive down to Punakha and on your way visit the local village houses.
Day 09 : Punakha / Paro
In the morning, depart for Paro, en route visiting Simtokha Dzong. In the afternoon visit Ta Dzong (the National Museum), Rinpung Dzong and Paro town.
Day 10 : Paro
In the morning after breakfast, visit Kyichu Lhakahng, Drukgyel Dzong. In the afternoon take an excursion to Taktsang Monastery or to Kila Goemba.
Day 11 : Paro /Onward Destination
The next morning leave for the airport to catch a flight to your onward destination.
